about me

I studied flamenco guitar, lived in Spain and was shaped by this intense music, the co-creation, the rhythm, the interplay with singing and dancing. Later I discovered singing and I immersed myself in many styles within world music and spiritual songs. Singing is breathing, living, flowing, emotion. It is wonderful to connect with others and with something much bigger from there. I lead many singing and sing-along events, mantra groups and professional teams. In addition, I give concerts in various groups and styles. I have always felt a great drive to share the music: with dancers, with musicians, with amateurs, with children, with the elderly. Flamenco is beautiful in that respect: it is a culture of sharing, being together and enjoying the moment together. In 2010 I discovered the community singing at workshops with Hagara Feinbier. More and more I discovered the power of singing: Everyone with an open attitude can contribute regardless of age, experience, background or religion. In a very short time a beautiful harmony and experience arises. Mantra weeks with Deva Premal, Taketina with Reinhard Flatischler, musical and spiritual retreats gave me more and more depth and inspiration. I have followed many singing trainings and lessons and feel quite inspired by classical music, romantic opera and classical singing technique. Yoga and spirituality increasingly take a central place in my life, they bring me energy, pleasure, attunement with myself and with the ‘divine energy’, that which is infinitely greater than myself. I recently traveled to India and did the 200-hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh.

Media spiritual songs        Media world music

It is by singing and playing so much different music that I notice how universal the human search for love and connection is. I experience so much connection between the spirituality of, for example, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sufism, the Catholic faith and the Native American culture. By singing and sharing these songs I intend to make my humble contribution to a beautiful world.

Where speech ends, music begins (E. Hoffmann)

Singing, more than anything else, enables a direct understanding of hearts, transcending all cultural and religious boundaries. In singing, the common meaning and richness of people and nations is revealed
(Yehudi Menuhin).

Music serves to deepen the silence that follows (Deva Premal)

When you die, make sure that you leave behind something beautiful in this world, even if no one knows about it (Osho).
